Community Guidelines for ShoutOut: Cancellations and Non-Performance

At ShoutOut, we are committed to creating a positive and productive environment for both our creators and business community. To ensure a smooth and respectful experience for all parties involved, we have established the following guidelines regarding creator cancellations, no-shows, and non-performance. These guidelines are aimed at maintaining the integrity of our platform and fostering trust among our users.

  1. Clear Communication and Expectations:
    • Creators are expected to clearly communicate their availability, commitments, and expectations when agreeing to collaborations.
  2. Confirmation and Commitment:
    • Creators are encouraged to apply to collaboration opportunities only if they are certain about their availability and ability to fulfill the collaboration (date, time, location, etc)
    • Once a commitment is made, creators are expected to honor their agreement and fulfill their responsibilities.
  3. Cancellation Policy:
    • Creators should provide as much notice as possible if they need to cancel a collaboration due to unforeseen circumstances. Any cancellation made with less than 48 hours' notice may lead to potential financial penalties and the temporary or permanent suspension of the creator's ShoutOut account.
    • A pattern of cancellations may result in a review of the creator's standing on the platform and may lead to potential suspension of the creator's ShoutOut account.
  4. No-Show Policy:
    • Creators are expected to show up promptly for scheduled collaborations. In the event of an unavoidable delay or technical issue, timely communication is crucial.
    • No-show incidents without prior communication will lead to suspension of the creator's participation on the platform.
  5. Non-Performance and Quality Standards:
    • Creators are responsible for delivering content that meets the agreed-upon time and quality standards.
    • Creation of content of poor quality, containing violence, nudity, or any potentially harmful material will result in the suspension of the creator's ShoutOut account.
  6. Resolution of Disputes:
    • In the case of disputes arising from cancellations, no-shows, or non-performance, both creators and business members are encouraged to reach out to ShoutOut support.
    • ShoutOut will mediate and facilitate discussions to find fair resolutions for all parties involved.
  7. Consequences for Violations:
    • ShoutOut reserves the right to take appropriate actions, including warnings, temporary suspensions, or permanent removal from the platform, based on the severity and frequency of violations.
  8. Continuous Improvement:
    • ShoutOut is committed to continuously improving its platform and user experience. We welcome feedback from both creators and community members on how we can enhance our policies and processes.
